News Update

Hello everybody

The good news is that Danielle will be back from Wednesday 23 January and the menu that week will include: All the usual favourites such as grilled toasties, baked potatoes, omelette and a homemade soup.

This week will also see the return of the beer battered cod goujons and ham egg and chips.

The 3rd Friday lunch will be on the 4th Friday.  There’s a list on the board to sign up for this excellent value meal.

Don’t forget that on Saturday the 19th there is a Quiz with a Fish and Chip Supper.  Still places left – 4 to a team so either come in and sign up or let me know if you’re fielding a team and whether or not you’d like the meal.

Our Scottish Evening on Saturday 26 is filling up.  Book up soon.  Only £20 a head and the menu is:


Cock-a-Leekie Soup

              Quail eggs wrapped in sausage meat, fried in bread crumbs

Served with apple chutney


Slow Braised Scottish Beef

 Haggis offered separately.  Tot of whisky available!!

The 6 Nations Rugby dates are:

Saturday 2 Feb 4.45pm – 7.30pm Ireland v England

Sunday 10 Feb 12.30 LUNCH for anyone then Rugby KO 3pm Bar open till 6pm

Saturday 23 Feb KO 4.45 – 7.30pm Wales v England

Saturday 16 March KO 5pm – 8pm England v Scotland

And Penultimately – on Monday 4 Feb Utterly Unique will be bringing their music to the Main Bar 8pm ish.  No tickets or sign-ups, just come along and enjoy!

Finally, Saturday 16 Feb there is a Valentine’s Event.  More to follow so watch out for a poster on the board.
